There are also some bad guys in the book to keep things interesting. Actually, the book is interesting. The characters are well developed and draw you in.

AL Knorr writes strong female protagonists and the stories are more action/adventure than they are romance. What romances are in her books are clean, that means no on-page sex, no cussing. Her books do not have a lot of death or murder in them, they are intended to be uplifting escape reading with happy endings and environmental themes.
