Start with some stained glass chips or ceramic tiles.

You need something to put the mosaic on after all! You can also use a piece of wood if you prefer.

Get a good pair of glass nippers (and some spare wheels) to make your cuts

Apply this to the surface of the pot or base to hold your tiles in place until you grout.

Use this if you will be keeping the finished mosaic outdoors.

This grout is designed just for mosaics. Once you're happy with your design, add the grout liberal and wipe down with a wet sponge. Congrats! You made your first mosaic!
